Coach – Facilitator
Tamara qualified as a solicitor at European law firm SJ Berwin before moving to the American law firm Dechert where she was an Associate in their Corporate & Securities team. She then joined the legal team at Just Eat Plc where she worked as Legal Counsel supporting their businesses in the UK, Spain and Canada. Later, Tamara became Just Eat’s Privacy Counsel where she led their business transformation exercise in preparation for the arrival of the General Data Protection Regulation. Her next move was to Goldman Sachs where for 7.5 years, she led their EMEA Privacy Compliance function as an Executive Director, and the EMEA & APAC arm of their Global Privacy Office as a Senior Compliance Officer.
In parallel with her 15+ year career in City law firms, tech startups and investment banking, Tamara developed her interests in coaching, mental health and the mind-body connection – her constant inquiry has been to understand how we can leverage the wisdom of our bodies to become more effective professionals (and humans). At Goldman Sachs, Tamara coached professionals at all levels of the hierarchy, from Associate to Managing Director, on themes ranging from overcoming imposter phenomenon, managing professional boundaries and value-centred self-expression and management.
Tamara is now dedicated to helping professionals find personal and professional balance, starting with their own bodies and minds – among other things, she helps them to connect with a sense of internal peace amongst the uncertainty of professional life, align with their purpose and maintain optimum productivity.
Having studied various modalities for tapping into our internal resources, Tamara intuitively blends these into her coaching and facilitation to help professionals develop greater self-insight, awareness and effectiveness. Her practice is both trauma and polyvagal-informed.
Tamara is a member of, and Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, as well as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. She has a Certificate in Brain Based Conversation Skills from the Neuroleadership Institute and is certified by TRE College London to teach Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) as a set of stress relieving exercises to individuals and groups. She is currently working towards her breathwork instructor certification with the Oxygen Advantage.
Tamara believes that with the right support, all of us cannot only meet our potential, but continuously re-imagine what we believe is possible to break through internal and external barriers. One of Tamara’s core values is fun and she weaves this into her work on the most serious of topics.
Away from work, she enjoys nature walks, functional fitness, travel, dancing and playing with other people’s dogs in the park.
